As host and incoming Chair of the 54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting (PIFLM), it is my distinct honour to warmly welcome you all to the Hapi Isles.

The Government and People of Solomon Islands look forward to receiving you all our visitors with true Solomon Islands pride and hospitality rooted in our rich and diverse cultures.

The Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting will be held in Honiara from 8-12 September 2025. The gathering of leaders is guided by our shared values, kastom and wantok spirit that unite and bind the Pacific as one people and one ocean.

The theme of the 54th PIFLM celebrates 54-year journey of the Pacific Islands Forum:
“Iumi Tugeda: Act Now for an Integrated Blue Pacific Continent”.

This theme is both a call to action and a reaffirmation of who we are — one Blue Pacific Continent. A call to strengthen regionalism, act with a sense of purpose for an integrated, resilient, and sustainable Pacific.

As we navigate through a new era of international cooperation, it demands our collective commitment to work together to transform our economies, bring prosperity to our people and secure our Blue Pacific Continent. Our solidarity is measured by the actions we take on our shared economic, social and environmental frameworks.

“Iumi Tugeda” is a commitment to move together from Strategy to Action. Together, we signal to the world that the Pacific stands united for an integrated Blue Pacific Continent.

Pacific Resilience Facility set for ratification as Forum secure global support
