Honiara, Friday 5 September 2025 – Prime Minister Hon. Jeremiah Manele has thanked private sector companies, bilateral and multilateral partners, and Solomon Islanders supporting preparations and hosting of the 54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting (PIFLM).
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, the Prime Minister acknowledged the contributions of Solomon Telekom, RICOH Printing, South Pacific Oil, Solomon Airlines, and Solomon Ports. He said their partnership reflects the importance of working together as a nation.
He also expressed appreciation for the support of bilateral and multilateral partners, describing their assistance as invaluable to the successful hosting of the Forum.
The Prime Minister also thanked the many Solomon Islanders involved with the National Organising Committee. “Your commitment, energy, and unity will ensure the success of this Forum and showcase to the region the strength of our people,” he said.
He emphasised that these partnerships and community efforts demonstrate the value of collaboration, both nationally and regionally, and reaffirm Solomon Islands’ readiness to host the Forum.
